Product Overview
The SZW-25-110VAC is a 2 way, normally closed stainless steel solenoid valve with 1” inch female NPT ports. This valve is controlled by a 110 VAC coil that has a voltage tolerance of +-10% making it suitable for most 120 Volt residential power systems. This valve can handle media temperatures ranging from 15°F up to 250°F. It is compatible with air, water, gas, weak acids and other low viscosity fluids (below 20cst).
The SZW-25-110VAC is our most popular 1” valve because it is compatible with most residential 120 Volt AC power systems. This valve has a voltage tolerance of +-10% so it can connect directly to a home’s power. The coil will require 28 watts or 0.50 amps to actuate. The valve is rated for 100% duty cycle however keeping it energized for long periods of time will reduce the life of the coil. It should not be installed continuously as a fail-safe in the event of a power outage. It can be connected with the 5.5” lead wires with terminal connectors or directly soldered.
The orifice size is 25mm and the flow rate can be calculated using a Cv of 12. The valve body has standard female NPT connection ports. This solid Stainless Steel valve weights approximately 2lbs 5ozs, dimensions are 4.5” tall, 2.60 width and 3.25” port to port.
This valve is food and potable water grade making it a good choice for industrial or residential applications where a lead free valve is required. The valves materials comply with NSF61 however it does not have NSF certifications.
This valve is mountable in any position however coil up is preferred. An Wye Strainer or inline filter is always recommended to keep the valve free from debris that will prevent it from functioning as intended.
