Product Overview
Our SZW-20-24VDC is a Stainless Steel, 3/4” Inch Solenoid valve with Female NPT Threads. This is a 2-way, normally closed solenoid valve. This means the normal position is closed until the coil is given power to open the valve. The valve will hold position until power is removed. The valve components are food and potable water grade. The Viton seal used in this valve is capable of temperatures as low as 15°F and as high as 250°F. This valve is also compatible with a variety of media including water, gas, oil, diesel fuel, air, weak acids and glycol.
The SZW-20-24VDC valve has a 24 Volt DC coil with a voltage range that is -/+ 10. A 24 Volt DC power source is required to properly operate the valve. The coil can be connected with your choice of terminal connectors, directly soldered or conduit mounted with the attached 5.5” lead wires.
The Stainless Steel valve body features an arrow that indicates the direction of flow. The unit can be mounted in any position but coil up is always preferred for faultless operation.
Connection: There is no Polarity, + and – can be interchanged.
