Product Overview

This is a 220V AC, 1-1/2” NPT electric brass solenoid valve that is normally open. Normally open means that the valve is in an ‘open’ configuration without power. The valve is in a ‘closed’ position while it is being powered. This is a unidirectional valve, therefore the valve will only stop media while closed traveling along the direction of the valve’s arrow; the valve is not intended to be used with media travelling both ways.

The electrical enclosure for this valve has an IP54 rating. This allows for limited protection against dust and protection against splash water from any direction. While these valves are splash resistant, they are not submersible. The coil has no polarity, therefore the power and ground are interchangeable. This valve requires 40W of power to function.

A gravity feed situation is also applicable for this valve, with no minimum pressure requirement and a maximum pressure of 90 psi. This valve works in temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

In order to avoid orifice obstruction, it is recommended to install a pre-filter. Stainless steel is present as the internal components and Viton as the seal material. This valve works with water, air, gas, weak acids, diesel fuel in addition to various other media. The 1.5” inlet and outlet ports are female NPT.
