Product Overview

The APLG-1/2-120VAC valves are specially designed for gravity fed, drain applications. This line of valves are specifically designed for low pressure and low power needs of low viscosity liquids. When pushed outside of the 0-3PSI range, or more than 3 feet of head pressure the valve may not function properly, nor will it be able to handle thick or heavy viscous liquids. The valve’s default position is normally closed. Which means that the valve will need power to open and on the loss of power the valve will revert back to the original position of closed.

The ports are male with ½” NPT thread. These male ports can be connected to female NPT fittings. This line is made of unidirectional valves which means the liquid flowing through the valve will only flow in one direction. The APL Series is made with POM plastic and feature stainless steel internal components and an EPDM seal. The body of the valve features an arrow to help with the ease of installation. When installed the arrow will tell you which way the liquid should be flowing through the valve to ensure proper installation. The valve also features a built in filter to help prevent material from entering the valve and damaging any of the internal parts such as the seal or preventing the valve from closing.

The 120VAC coil on the valve will require approximately 6 watts to properly actuate. The coil can be attached with terminals that feature no polarity.
