Product Overview

The UBP-40 is a 1-1/2" Brass Piloted Solenoid Valve with NBR seals. It provides reliable on off control for high flow utility and water systems. The valve is UL Recognized. Certification details are available upon request.

This valve uses a normally closed piloted design. It handles higher flow rates than smaller valves when pressure differential is available. Typical applications include utility manifolds and control or pilot lines.

For reliable opening and closing, this pilot-operated model needs a minimum inlet pressure of 4.5 PSI. Pay close attention to system pressure in low-head or elevated configurations. Gravity-fed applications are not advised.

The brass body supports non-corrosive fluids. Stainless steel internal components help maintain stable operation under continuous duty. Suitable media include water, air, compatible liquids, and light oils.

Each valve ships fully assembled with a mounted solenoid coil. A DIN electrical connection supports quick installation.

Why UL Recognition Matters

UL Recognition verifies that the electrical components meet defined UL safety criteria for controlled applications. This supports safer electrical integration, improves system documentation integrity, and helps reduce compliance risk in regulated environments.

Always follow proper installation practices and confirm material compatibility with your fluid, pressure, and temperature requirements.
