Product Overview

The UBP-15 is a 1/2 inch pilot operated solenoid valve with NBR seals. It provides dependable on off control for water and general utility systems. The valve is UL Recognized. Certification details are available upon request.

This valve uses a normally closed piloted design. It supports higher flow than direct acting valves when sufficient pressure differential is present. Users commonly install it in industrial water lines, utility manifolds, and control panel assemblies.

The brass body suits non-corrosive fluids. Stainless steel internal components support continuous duty operation. When applied correctly, the valve handles water, air, compatible liquids, and light oils.

Each unit ships fully assembled with a mounted solenoid coil. Multiple voltage options support standard power requirements. A DIN electrical connection simplifies installation.

The pilot-operated design requires a minimum inlet pressure of 4.5 PSI to ensure reliable opening and closing. Adequate system pressure must be maintained, particularly in high-elevation or low-head installations. This valve is not recommended for gravity-fed systems.

Why UL Recognition Matters

UL Recognition confirms that critical electrical components have been tested to meet established UL safety standards. This lowers the risk of electrical malfunction and helps ensure safer integration into control panels, automation systems, and OEM assemblies.

Always follow proper installation practices and confirm material compatibility with your fluid, pressure, and temperature requirements.
