1-1/2" Stainless Steel Steam Solenoid Valve
Technical Details
Product Overview
The 1-1/2" Stainless Steel Steam Solenoid Valve SRS-40 supports electric control in industrial steam and high-temperature fluid applications. It provides stable actuation where thermal resistance and durability are required.
This valve uses a stainless steel body designed for saturated steam and condensate service. It also supports compatible high-temperature liquids found in plant utility and process heating systems. Typical applications include steam distribution loops, CIP systems, jacketed equipment, and large heating circuits.
The SRS-40 uses a semi direct-acting design. Because of this, the valve operates without minimum differential pressure. It performs reliably during pressure variation, start-up conditions, and low-flow operation. In these cases, fully piloted valves may not actuate consistently.
A steam-rated solenoid coil supports continuous operation in elevated temperature environments. In addition, the coil allows hard-wired installation through conduit or junction boxes. This makes the valve suitable for permanent industrial steam piping.
Compared to smaller SRS models, the SRS-40 offers higher flow capacity. For this reason, it works well in 1-1/2" steam mains, large jacketed vessels, and high-demand process heating lines that require stainless steel construction and dependable electric control.
Always follow proper steam installation practices and confirm compatibility with your pressure, temperature, and condensate management design.
