Product Overview

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Atlantic Valve SRS-20 Series of 3/4”, Stainless Steel, Normally Closed, Zero-Differential Steam Solenoid Valves are the premier choice for controlling flow in air, inert gas, hot water, and steam applications. Normally closed refers to this valve's default position, meaning when the valve is not energized it will remain closed, and when power is applied the valve will be open allowing media to flow through. This valve is rated for steam, hot liquids, inert gasses, and solenoid valves are closed when power is off and open when energy is applied. This semi-direct acting valve opens and closes instantaneously allowing for quick and precise control of flow.  Semi-Direct Valves use the media pressure to operate at higher pressures than a Direct-Acting Valve and Lower Pressures than a Piloted Valve.

This valve comes standard with our 510 coil with DIN.  The 510 DIN coil has an enclosure rating of IP64/NEMA 4, ideal for indoor or outdoor use and can be quickly and conveniently connected with the 43560A DIN connector by threading the wires directly from the power source into the connector. AC voltages use 40VA and DC Voltages 32 Watts. Be sure to use a power source with matching voltage and ensure enough amperage is available for these valves to work properly.

INDUSTRIAL GRADE STEAM VALVE

This industrial-grade steam valve uses an Atlantic Valve’s Solenoid Coils to control the opening and closing of the diaphragm at rapid speeds (under 1 second). This valve is designed to be compatible with steam.  The wetted parts consist of Stainless Steel and PTFE components, both of these materials are resistant to higher temperatures. This allows for high-temperature liquids and steam to be controlled safely. This valve is rated for 32-356°F and 0-145 PSI for AC Voltages and 0-90 PSI for DC Voltages.  Stainless Steel is also more resistant to corrosion, and chemical reactions making it an ideal material choice. This valve's sturdy build coupled with the advanced 510 Series Coil that boasts a 100%ED rating makes this valve long-lasting and reliable.
