1-1/4" Stainless Steel Steam Solenoid Valve
Technical Details
Product Overview
The 1-1/4" Stainless Steel Steam Solenoid Valve SRS-32 provides electric control for steam and high-temperature fluid systems. It supports reliable shut off in applications exposed to thermal stress and pressure changes.
This valve uses a stainless steel body designed for saturated steam and condensate service. It also handles compatible high-temperature liquids used in process heating systems. Common installations include jacketed tanks, heat exchangers, and steam distribution lines. These applications require stable operation and long service life.
The SRS-32 uses a semi direct-acting design. Because of this, the valve operates without minimum differential pressure. It performs well during start-up, low-flow operation, and pressure fluctuations. In these conditions, fully piloted steam valves may not open consistently.
A steam-rated solenoid coil supports continuous duty operation. In addition, the coil allows hard-wired installation through conduit or junction boxes. This makes the valve suitable for permanent industrial steam piping systems.
Compared to smaller models, the SRS-32 provides mid-range flow capacity. For this reason, it fits 1-1/4" steam lines, condensate control circuits, and process heating applications that require stainless steel construction and dependable electric actuation.
Always follow proper steam installation practices and confirm compatibility with your pressure, temperature, and condensate management design.
