Product Overview
The BZW-15K-24VDC is a 1/2" 24V DC normally open brass solenoid valve for automatic control of water, air, fuel, and other compatible media. This 2-way valve stays open when power is off and closes when 24V DC is applied, making it useful for systems that need to maintain flow during a power interruption or remain open until flow must be stopped.
The valve features a brass body, stainless steel components, a Viton® diaphragm, 1/2" female NPT ports, and a 15 mm orifice. With a Cv of 3.5, it delivers approximately 27 GPM of water flow at 60 psi. It operates at 0 to a maximum pressure of 90 psi, with a media temperature range of 15°F to 250°F (-10°C to 120°C). The 28 W, 1.20 Amps coil has a DIN 43650B connection, responds in less than one second, and is rated for 100% duty at rated ambient temperature. No minimum operating pressure is required.

Installation
- Install the valve vertically or horizontally, following the flow-direction arrow on the body.
- Do not mount it upside down with the coil underneath.
