Product Overview

The BZW-25K-24VAC is a 1-inch 24V AC normally open brass solenoid valve designed to control the flow of water, air, gas, diesel fuel, glycol, and other compatible media. This 2-way, direct-acting diaphragm valve remains open when power is off and closes when the 24V AC coil is energized. With no minimum differential pressure requirement for operation, it is suitable for gravity-fed systems and other low-pressure fluid-control applications.

The valve features a solid brass body, stainless steel internal components, and a Viton® diaphragm seal compatible with a variety of media, including water, air, gas, diesel fuel, glycol, and certain weak acids and alkalis, subject to chemical compatibility. The 1" female NPT inlet and outlet ports provide threaded connections for compatible piping systems.

With a 25 mm orifice and a Cv of 12, this high-flow solenoid valve can handle water pressures from 0 to 90 psi. It operates across a media temperature range of 15°F to 250°F and uses a 24V AC coil rated at 19 VA (0.80 amp). The DIN 43650B coil connection supports electrical installation, while its response time of less than one second enables responsive on/off flow control.

Common Applications

The BZW-25K-24VAC is suitable for compatible fluid-control applications, including:

  • Irrigation
  • Water systems
  • Fluid dispensing
  • Equipment automation
  • Other commercial or industrial processes

Installation

  • The valve is unidirectional, so media must flow in the direction indicated by the arrow molded into the valve body.

*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
