Product Overview
The SS-3J-24VAC is a direct-acting 24 Volt AC, 2-way, 1/4" Stainless Steel electric solenoid valve that can be used for liquid, water, gas, and air in a variety of different applications. This valve uses a Viton seal that is compatible with many liquids such as water, weak acids, and diesel fuel up to 250°F.
This particular valve is Normally Closed, which means the valve will only open when power is applied and close when power is removed. This compact valve features a solid stainless steel body, stainless steel components, and a copper shading ring with a female NPT threaded port.
This specific valve has a 24 Volt AC coil with a voltage range that is -+ 10. The coil head is fitted with a wire lead connection that can easily be connected with your own choice of terminals. Its response time is very low; in fact, it acts in less than one second, making it a great choice for all types of applications.
