Product Overview
The SS-3J-24VAC is a direct-acting 24 Volt AC, 2-way, 1/4" Stainless Steel electric solenoid valve that can be used for liquid, water, gas, and air in a variety of different applications. This valve uses a Viton seal that is compatible with many liquids such as water up to 250°F, weak acids, and diesel fuel. This particular valve is Normally Closed, which means the valve will only open when power is applied and close when power is removed. This compact valve features a solid stainless steel body, stainless steel components, and a copper shading ring with a female NPT threaded port.
This specific valve has a 24 Volt AC coil with a voltage range that is -+ 10. The coil head is fitted with a wire lead connection that can easily be connected with your own choice of terminals. Its response time is very low; in fact, it acts in less than one second, making it a great choice for all types of applications.
