Product Overview
The SZW-25K-110VAC is a 1" normally open stainless steel solenoid valve designed for automatic on/off control of water, air, and other compatible media in commercial, residential, and industrial systems. Its 110V AC coil closes the valve when energized and allows it to return to the open position when power is removed. This fail-open operation makes it suitable for applications where maintaining flow during a power interruption is important, including cooling-water circulation, bypass lines, recirculation systems, and draining or purging.
Constructed with a stainless steel body and components and a Viton® diaphragm, this 2-way valve features 1" female NPT ports and a 25 mm orifice. It has a Cv of 12 and a flow capacity of approximately 92 GPM at 60 psi. The operating pressure range is 0–90 psi, with a media temperature range of 15°F to 250°F. The 110V AC coil is rated at 15 VA. The valve has a response time of less than one second and is rated for 100% duty within its specified voltage and ambient temperature limits.

Because this is a normally open valve, it is best suited to applications where flow should continue when power is off. Confirm that this fail-open condition is appropriate for the system before selecting the valve.
Installation
- Install the valve in the direction indicated by the flow arrow on the body; it is a unidirectional valve.
- The SZW series supports vertical or horizontal mounting, although the product page recommends installing this model with the coil upright.
- Flush piping before installation, and we recommend an upstream filter to help prevent debris from interfering with the valve operation.
- The coil is splash-resistant but not weatherproof, so protect it from exposure to the elements when installed outdoors.
- Supply the coil with the specified 110V AC power.
