Product Overview

The 2" Stainless Steel Steam Solenoid Valve SRS-50 is designed for steam systems that require high flow capacity and stable electric control. It supports reliable shutoff in demanding industrial environments.

This valve features a stainless steel body suitable for saturated steam, condensate, and compatible high-temperature liquids. It is commonly installed in large steam headers, CIP systems, jacketed vessels, and central steam distribution lines. These systems depend on durable construction and consistent performance.

The SRS-50 uses a semi direct-acting operating design. As a result, the valve functions at zero differential pressure. It maintains reliable actuation during start-up and fluctuating pressure conditions. Fully piloted steam valves may struggle in these situations.

A high-power, steam-rated solenoid coil supports continuous duty service. In addition, the coil allows permanent wiring through conduit or junction boxes. This design suits fixed industrial steam piping installations.

As the largest valve in the SRS series, the SRS-50 delivers the highest flow capacity. For this reason, it is well suited for 2 inch steam mains, high-capacity process heating lines, and large jacketed tanks. Due to its size and weight, proper pipe support or bracketing is recommended for long-term reliability.

Always follow proper steam installation practices and confirm compatibility with your pressure, temperature, and condensate management design.
