Product Overview
The SZW-15K-110VAC is a 1/2" 110V AC normally open stainless steel solenoid valve designed for automatic on/off control of water, air, fuel, and other compatible media in commercial and industrial fluid systems. This 2-way valve remains open when power is off and closes when 110V AC is applied. Its normally open configuration is useful in systems that need to maintain flow during a power interruption or require flow to stop only when the valve is energized.
The valve features a stainless steel body and internal components, along with a Viton® diaphragm for compatibility with a range of fluids and operating temperatures. It has 1/2" female NPT ports, a 15 mm orifice, and a Cv of 3.5, delivering approximately 27 GPM of water flow at 60 psi. The 110V AC coil draws 15 VA/0.15 amps, has a DIN 43650B electrical connection, and responds in less than one second.

Installation
- Install the valve in line with the flow-direction arrow on the stainless steel body.
- Mount the valve with the coil in an upright position.
- Connect the pre-wired DIN 43650B coil to a correctly rated 110V AC power supply.
- Flush piping before installation, and we recommend an upstream filter to help prevent debris from interfering with the diaphragm.
- This coil is splash-resistant, but it is not waterproof and should not be installed in spray-down locations.
