Product Overview

9 to 24V AC/DC (auto detects voltage)

The model BVP5CE is a ¾” Motorized Ball Valve with a UPVC molded body. The molded plastic body has ¾” NPT inlet and outlet ports. The valve seals are EPDM and PTFE. This component combination makes this valve an excellent choice for both potable water and corrosive chemicals like salt water and acids. Since there are no wetted metal parts this choice is perfect when a metallic valve can’t be used.

This valve comes with a 3 wire control actuator that allows the position to be controlled with a momentary switch. The actuator required 9 to 24V AC/DC to turn the balls position. This actuator has an internal voltage detector that allows it work within the specified range. A minimum of 500 mA is required to rotate the ball. The valve can be left in either position without requiring consistent power. The valve also features a position indicator on top of the motor so the position of the ball can be seen.

Another great feature of Electric Ball Valves is the fact that they work Bi Directional, meaning the flow through the body can enter through either port. The ball takes approximately 5 seconds to switch position which eliminates water hammer. The valves NEMA 4 enclosure makes it suitable for spray day and other wet locations however it should never be submerged.
