Product Overview

Choose an XR22 wiring option above:

  • 9 to 24V AC/DC (auto detects voltage)
  • 110 to 230V AC

Our 1-1/2” Electric Ball Valve is ideal for applications requiring maximum flow. Ball valves are desirable not only for their high flow rates but because they are bi-directional. This means the valve will work with the flow in either direction. The valve does have a delayed close time when compared to similar sized solenoid valves. The mechanical ball inside the valve will require up to 12 seconds to fully switching positions. This unit’s body is constructed of 304 Stainless Steel. The internal components are made up of 316 stainless, PTFE and EPDM. This is a good solution if your looking for a shut off valve in a residential or commercial project.

This valves includes an XR-22 actuator with two lead wires. The valve is powered to open and will remain open while powered. The internal capacitor powers the motor to turn the ball 90 degrees back to its normal position when power is removed. This actuator requires a minimum energized cycle of at least 60 seconds to ensure the internal capacitor is fully charged and has enough power to close the valve completely. Cycle times shorter than 60 seconds may result in partial or incomplete closures.  While powered the internal capacitor will charge and draw minimal power to remain charged. Once power is removed the capacitor will power the valve to the closed position.
