Product Overview

Choose an XR22 wiring option above:

  • 9 to 24V AC/DC (auto detects voltage)
  • 110 to 230V AC

If you’re looking for a 1” valve that has limited flow restrictions, works in both directions, or stays in position with minimal power than this electric ball valve will work with your application. An Electric ball valve makes a great option when a solenoid valve just won’t fit the bill.

This motorized ball valve has a full port 1” NPT female inlet and outlet ports. The valves internal ball is stainless steel with a PTFE seat and Viton/FKM seal. This particular valve is ¼ turn and will operate from a closed to open position when actuated and open to closed when deactivated. This unit features a position indicator on the top of the actuator.

The XR22 model actuator is a 2 wire auto return. This means the valve requires power to change to the open position and if power is lost it will automatically close. The actuator uses an internal capacitor to drive the valve into the closed position when power is lost. The capacitor will require a nominal amount of power to stay charged. The internal capacitor powers the motor to turn the ball 90 degrees back to its normal position when power is removed. This actuator requires a minimum energized cycle of at least 60 seconds to ensure the internal capacitor is fully charged and has enough power to close the valve completely. Cycle times shorter than 60 seconds may result in partial or incomplete closures. Unlike a solenoid valve, an electric motorized ball valve will not fail due to coil wear or overheating. It is available in a 9V to 24V AC/DC or 110V to 230V AC. The actuator will operate within that range and auto detects voltage.
