Product Overview
The SZW-25-24VDC is a 1” Inch, 2-way, Stainless Steel solenoid valve with a 24 Volt DC coil. It is compatible with a variety of media such as liquids, gas, air, fuel, glycol, and weak acids. This 24 Volt DC general-purpose solenoid valve is a great choice when working with 24V DC power. It has a temperature range between 15°F and 250°F.
The SZW-25-24VDC is a solid stainless steel valve that features 1" female NPT inlet and outlet ports. This particular valve weighs approximately 2 lbs 6 oz and measures 4.5” height, 2.60 wide, and 3.35” port to port. Its compact size is great for fitting in tight places without compromising quality.
It is fitted with a 24 Volt DC coil that requires 28 watts, or 1.20 Amps of DC power to actuate. The coil is included with the valve. The coil has a voltage tolerance of +-10%. It is rated for 100% duty cycle but should not be powered indefinitely.
There are no minimum pressure requirements, and the valve can handle pressure up to 90 psi. The valve has a 25 mm orifice, and its flow rate can be calculated using the Cv value of 12.
Installation
- The connection can be made with the 5.5” lead wires using solder or terminal connectors.
