Product Overview

The SS-3J-110VAC is a direct acting 110 / 120 Volt AC, 2 way, 1/4" Stainless Steel solenoid valve that can be used for liquid, water, gas and air in a variety of different applications. This valve uses a Viton seal that is compatible with many liquids such as hot water up to 250°F, weak acids and diesel fuel. This 1/4" valve is Normally Closed which means the valve will only open when power is applied and close when power is removed. This valve will operate with typical 120 Volt residential power. This compact valve features a solid stainless steel body, stainless steel components and a copper shading ring with a female NPT threaded port.

The SS-3J-110VAC has a 110 / 120 Volt AC coil with a voltage range that is -+ 10. The coil head is fitted with a Wire Lead connection that can easily be connected with your own choice of terminals. Its response time is very low; in fact, it acts in less than one second, making it a great choice for all types of applications.

Customers commonly use the SS-3J-110VAC Valve for Misting Systems, Fountains, Water Filtration, Solar Heating, Aquariums, Automotive, Beer Brewing, Hydroponics, HVAC, Plumbing and everywhere else one of our valves can be applied.

This model is mountable in any position and features a conveniently positioned arrow on the body to indicate the direction of flow.

Connection – No Polarity, + and – can be interchanged.

Coil up is the preffered mounting position but can be mounted in any position.

A pre-filter is always recommended to keep the diaphragm free from debris and the valve functioning properly.

*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.

*The Orifice size is 3mm and Cv value is 0.4. This valve is not recommended for gravity fed systems because of the small orifice size.
