Product Overview

The RSSM-2-110VAC is one of our smallest valves in our brass line. This particular 2-way valve features an NPT 1/8” inlet and outlet port. The internal components feature SS304 parts and copper shading ring. The seal utilized in this valve is Viton which is compatible with fuels, as well as many harsh chemicals and temperatures ranging from 15°F up to 250°F. The internal components feature SS304 parts and copper shading ring. The valve is configured in a normally closed position. This means the valve will stay closed, preventing media from passing through the valve until energized. The compact body makes it ideal for tight spaces where a larger valve wouldn’t be suitable.

This 110 Volt solenoid valve is fitted with an IP65 coil that can resist water and dust but should never be submerged. To actuate the valve requires 10 watts, or 0.50 amps of power. The valve is fast acting and changes position almost instantly.

This solenoid valve is rated for pressure ranging from 0 - 145 PSI. Although there is no minimum pressure requirements it may not be suitable for gravity feed due to its small orifice size of 2mm. The Cv of this unit is 0.2 which estimates that approximately 1.5 GPM of water would flow at 60 PSI.

It’s very easy to install. There are two lead wires attached to the coil that can be connected to your own power source. There is an arrow on the body of the valve that should be installed in the direction of the flow. We recommend installing a pre-filter to keep the valve functioning properly.

*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
