The 4V110-06 series pneumatic directional control valve is a 1/8" 4-Way (5 Port) 2-Position Pneumatic Direction Control Valve with a single solenoid control and air return reset function.
The 4V110-06 features a 4-way design, allowing for two different flow positions. The fiven Female NPT ports, labeled P for inlet or pressure port, A and B for outlets, and R and S for exhausts, are laser etched onto the valve's face. When powered, the valve operates in the P to B and A to R positions, while when power is removed, it switches to the P to A and B to S positions. The position diagram is also laser etched onto the valve.
This valve is single acting, with one solenoid controlling the position of the spool, and it incorporates an air return function for reset. Its specially designed internals based on the voltage enable faster opening and closing speeds, as well as lower power consumption. As a result, the valve's opening and closing time is reduced to under 0.05 seconds, with a power consumption of 2.8 Watts or 3.0VA. These features provide more precise control over the pneumatic circuit compared to other industry standard valves. It's important to note that swapping coil voltages is not permitted as each valve is designed for either AC or DC power.
To ensure durability in demanding environments, the valve is constructed with aluminum alloy and NBR O-Rings. It features 1/8" Female NPT ports, ensuring compatibility with a range of pneumatic fittings and facilitating easy integration into existing systems. The choice of an air return function instead of a spring return increases the valve's lifespan by eliminating the spring. The valve is operated by a 100% continuous duty solenoid (ED rated) and is equipped with a manual override button.
