The 4V310-10 series pneumatic directional control valve is a reliable component designed for precise control in pneumatic systems. It is a 3/8" 5 Port (4-Way), 2-Position Pneumatic Direction Control Valve with a single solenoid control and air return reset function.
The 44V310-10 features a 5 port design, allowing for two different flow positions. The valve has five Female NPT ports laser etched onto its face, 3 of the ports are 3/8" NPT while the two exhause are 1/4" NPT. The ports are labeled as follows: P for the inlet or pressure port, A and B for the outlets, and R and S for the exhausts. When powered, the valve operates in the P to B and A to R positions. When the power is removed, it switches to the P to A and B to S positions. The valve also has a laser-etched position diagram for easy reference.
This valve is single acting, with one solenoid controlling the position of the spool. It incorporates an air return function for reset. Compared to a spring return, the air return function offers benefits such as increased durability and longevity. By eliminating the spring, the valve's lifespan is extended, as springs are prone to wear and fatigue over time. Additionally, the air return function ensures reliable resetting of the valve to its initial position.
The 4V310-10 valve is constructed with durable materials, including aluminum alloy and NBR O-Rings, ensuring its ability to withstand demanding environments.
