Featured here is Model 2W-250-25 of our brass valve line. This particular valve is a two-way, semi-direct lift valve with a normally closed operating position. This means that there are two ports in which media flows and the valve will open when the coil is energized to allow media to pass through. Removing the energy from the valve coil will close it and stop the flow. It works across various media such as hot water, air, gas, diesel fuel, Freon, weak acids and weak alkali. The valve features a heavy duty, solid brass body that’s sure to last in the most strenuous projects.
The port size is 1” inch female NPT threaded. This Electric Solenoid Valve can handle low viscosity fluids below 20 cst. The orifice size is 25mm and the Cv value is 12. It can withstand pressure up to 115 psi (8 bar) and temperatures as low as 15°F and as high as 250°F. The seal material is FKM or Viton Rubber. This valve works in one direction and will not prevent media from moving backwards in the opposite direction.
This specific valve has a 12 Volt DC coil with a voltage range that is -+ 10. The coil head is fitted with 5" lead wires that can easily be connected with your own choice of terminals. The coils are not polarized, which mean that positive/negative does not matter when wiring them. The top of the coil features a label that indicates the valve type and specifications. Its response time is very low; in fact, it acts in less than one second, making it a great choice for all types of applications.
Customers commonly use the 2W-250-25 Valve for Irrigation, Fountains, Water Filtration, Solar Heating, Aquariums, Automotive, Beer Brewing, Hydroponics, HVAC, and Plumbing and everywhere else one of our valves can be applied.
This model is mountable in any position and features a conveniently positioned arrow on the body to indication the direction of flow.

who ever reviews this give the engineers a FYI heads up on this-- the valve works great, but over the summer I had 93% salt brine in the valve that I didn't get out and had to rebuild it, but what I found was the brine left a bright copper spot on the valve I can only guess the brine removed the zinc from the brass and left the copper behind, the valve was not harmed, but brass is not the best choice for me the new valve I bought is stainless steel, for those reading this brass is mix of copper and zinc and like a boat the zinc is the least noble of the metals but the valve worked great
I said that I would get back, and the valve worked great, with are in house brining system it work with the salt brine with multiple on-off cycles. We are building a second system this year and will order another valve.
Going to be used for controling de-icing brine this winter on the lots that we brine, should work I seen this type of valve control calcium cloride with normal wear & tear issues and work just fine. Had to rebuild the valve but that was no fault of the valve. Will follow this up in spring 2016.
Just got done wiring in valve, used it a couple of times and everything worked great. Great looking product, fast shipping. Would buy again. Thanks
The appearance is the first thing I noted when I opened the box. I is a very well built package, brass is bright and paint is excellent. I then bench tested it dry numerous times with air and it holds perfectly in the closed position, no air leakage. When I put it in operation with water on it all was the same. I will be buying more of these. A great value!
I bought this valve for a spray nozzle with inside cab control for my 97 Type 6 fire truck here in Montana. The price was far cheaper than local costs and I was very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this valve. Would buy again.
